In addition to his work in nonprofits, Bill has worked in management positions in mining, oil, gas, and chemicals.
Mrs. Helena NSOSUNGNINE Nsamenka, GeoAid’s Cameroon Administrator and Country Representative, will provide financial, administrative, logistical, and supervise day to day operational activities for the Project. She provides key linkages to local and national government representatives, as well as non-profit implementing partners of GeoAid. Mrs. Nsamenka has a degree from the University of Yaoundé and specialized training and experience in project management, finance, field extension, policy development while serving in previous Cameroon humanitarian, non-profit organizations at the head office and field level. She has been with GeoAid Cameroon since August, 2008.
Ms. Georgette FRUAWAH Che, is GeoAid’s Programs Coordinator for Health as well as coordinating and facilitating support to events and programs in Lomié. She will oversee, report, and control health commodities distribution, as well as support for day to day program activities in Lomié. Initially employed by Geovic Cameroon in June, 2008 as a language trainer, she provided basic health training to Geovic employees under the direction of the former Health, Safety, & Environmental Manager. She holds a Master of Arts from the University of Yaoundé. She has conducted research on “The Place of Rural Women in a Developing World” and provides translation and interpreting services as well as skills in facilitating Lomié programs. She has received specialized training in HIV/AIDS education and brings previous NGO experience in training and reporting to GeoAid since her employment in May, 2009.
Mr. ONDOUA Octave is GeoAid’s Agriculture & Programs Coordinator. A native of the East Province and assigned in Lomié, Mr. ONDOUA has previously worked for the World Wildlife Fund to support rural development programs. He has experience and training in agricultural crop multiplication, production, association-based marketing, as well as flora and fauna management programs. He coordinates and monitors the original GeoAid-sponsored pilot program in small animal raising as an anti-bushmeat initiative in Lomié. Mr. ONDOUA speaks French and Nzime’ and is learning Baka and English. He has taught youth programs in methods of rural agriculture. He joined GeoAid in October, 2008. He has 13 years work experience, mostly in Lomié, and has participated in a number of work-related trainings.
Mr. William (Bill) Massaquoi, GeoaAid’s Program Management Consultant has more than 16 years experience in Relief and Development in Liberia and Sierra Leone. He served previously as Sierra Leone Program Director, West Africa Microfinance Technical Advisor and twice as a Consultant for World Relief. Bill founded the LEAP Microfinance Program in Liberia and served as its Executive Director for eight years. At LEAP, Bill grew the number of staff from one person to more than 40 people serving more than 15,000 clients over an eight year period. He is a former Hubert Humphrey Fellow (part of the Fulbright Program) and was a past Fellow of the Special Program in Urban and Regional Studies (SPURS) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He holds a graduate degree in International Development and Regional Planning from MIT, along with joint studies at Harvard University. He served as Liberia Country Director for the international medical charity, Medical Teams International for two and half years. Bill is Founder and President of Rebuild Africa (www.rebuildafrica.org), a nonprofit dedicated to catalyzing leadership, education, and entrepreneurship in post-conflict countries in Africa.

Dr. Caroline Lynch, PhD, Public Health Programs Advisor
Dr. Lynch serves currently on the faculty of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She maintains an active portfolio in Public Health consulting, with recent and on-going projects and research primarily in Africa. Additionally, she has recent research/consulting in the Pacific Malaria Elimination Initiative project in the Vanuatu and Solomon Islands (South Pacific).
Mary Carpenter, international health programs advisor
Mary Carpenter, MS, CNM, FNP, is a nurse-midwife and family nurse practitioner with international experience in Central America and Africa. She has worked with Medical Teams International in Honduras and Mexico, is a consultant for the American College of Nurse-Midwives, Home Based Life Saving Skills program, and participated in the implementation of the program in Liberia.
