With the help of strategic international partnerships and generous donors, GeoAid increases its effectiveness within mining communities. We're grateful to these organizations and businesses for their contributions to sustainable humanitarian initiatives.

1. •Geovic Mining, Ltd: Provided a core operating grant to GeoAid International. Additionally, with the wood mill and equipment Geovic purchased to support construction of housing and furniture at the Cameroon mine site, GeoAid will sponsor and coordinate access to training in construction, wood-working, and furniture-making in communities affected by mine, with the potential for developing wood products for other markets.
   

1. •Medical Teams International: GeoAid in cooperation with Medical Teams International and St. Mary’s Medical Center has shipped two 40 foot containers of, clinic packs, medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment valued at more then $1,250,000 to aid GeoAid's efforts in Lomie, Cameroon in 2009. GeoAid coordinated the distribution in Lomie. A third container with medical supplies and africa packs will ship in September.
